Summary
Handle and maintain foreclosure portfolios or matters as assigned while mitigating loss and legal risk for the company’s clients by accurately managing the foreclosure process.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Review open files as they are received, proof data entered against source documents; make necessary corrections
- Interface with appropriate contacts to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
- Review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) including Deed of Trusts, Notes, Title, certified mail, dockets, pleadings, etc.
- Responsible for all functions involved in ordering, receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and processing of title for conventional and home equity liens
- Familiar with identifying title issues including, but not limited to, IRS, junior lien releases, and deceased borrower(s)
- Prepare and mail Notices of Default, Notices of Acceleration, and Notices of Application to Foreclose, Motions and Orders to Foreclose, and files required documents in the proper court
- Ensure the required Notices and Motions are prepared, received, and mailed in accordance with client, company, investor, state and government agency guidelines
- Respond to routine inquiries from clients, debtors and debtors’ attorneys, vendors and staff regarding internal and external processes
- Assess actions to correct internal procedural problems related to client system updates
- Responsible for all administrative and operational functions required to process files completely to a resolution that meets all legal requirements and is within the procedures of the firm
- Promptly determine when attorney action is required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years Foreclosure/Mortgage experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent
